A weekend in Sopot is a great idea at any time of year. The town is compact enough that in two days you can see the main attractions, eat at good restaurants and truly relax. Below you will find a ready-made plan as well as practical information about getting here and parking.
Friday evening: arrival and a stroll along Monciak
Check in at the hotel (check-in from 15:00), drop off your luggage and head out onto Monciak (Monte Cassino Street). From Bayjonn Hotel Sopot you step straight out onto the promenade, so an evening stroll and dinner require no planning at all. We suggest dinner at the Thai Thai restaurant – on Fridays and Saturdays it is open until 22:30.
Saturday: the sea, the pier and the forest
Morning
Start with a buffet breakfast (7:00–10:30), then walk the 200 metres to the beach. A morning stroll along the seashore is the best way to start the day.
Late morning
Visit the Sopot pier, Friends of Sopot Square (Plac Przyjaciół Sopotu), the Spa House (Dom Zdrojowy) and the lighthouse.
Afternoon
Head towards the Forest Opera (Opera Leśna) and the forests of the Tricity Landscape Park, or cycle along the seaside path to Gdańsk. For stays of 3 nights or more, you can take advantage of a special offer on electric bikes – ask at reception.
Evening
Relax in the complimentary hotel sauna, then go out for dinner and a sunset over the bay.
Sunday: a gentle pace
After breakfast, visit the Sopot Museum or take a walk through the North Park towards the Grand Hotel. Check-out is until 11:00 – if you would like to stay longer in town, ask reception about luggage storage.
